I went into the gym on this rainy day to clean and slap some new tape up on Prophets killer route named Silver Surfer. If you haven't gotten a chance to climb this route I highly recommend it! I asked Prophet what he felt the rate was and he said a 5.11+. I feel like the crux is pushing more on the 12 side but once you make it past the crux the end is smooth!

Sounds killer!! I love climbing there because the routes are so challenging! Being an outdoor climber and then climbing there, I am totally blown away at the intensity of the routes! It's awesome! Thank you!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm really glad that people are still enjoying that route! I was very happy with how it turned out. It was to be a challenge for people to work on and maybe learn some new technique. Many people gave me a hard time saying that it was "To difficult and reachy." most called it a sand bag. It's hard .11 or easy .12. Anyone who climbs with me knows that I'll always call it the easier of the two. More people will jump on an easier route, it also reflects more closely an outdoor rating that way. Have fun on it :)!
